Victor A. Rebikoff O.A.M , CBHS Class of 1963
Community Leader and ACT Government Senior Multicultural Adviser.
Victor Rebifoff has been a Community Leader for the past thirty years, as follows:-
Secretary/ President of the Ethnic Communities Council of the ACT from 1979 - 1992;
Chairman of the Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia- FECCA- from1992 - 1996;
Hon President of the Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia- FECCA- from 1996 - 2000;
Senior Multicultural Adviser in the ACT Government from 1996 - 2007 until retirement.
Victor Rebikoff has received the Order of Australia Award- which was an Order of Australia Medal (O.A.M) for
'Services to Migrants'.
Victor Rebikoff has also received a Diploma of Appreciation from the Polish Strzelecki Foundation for
'Service to Multiculturalism'.
Victor represented the Australian Government in East Timor before the Indonesian invasion.
He was the last Australian official to leave East Timor, flying to Portugal.
